I'm Lanxin Jiang, an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the College of Business at Stony Brook University. I received my Ph.D. in Accounting and Information Systems from Rutgers University.

My research areas include auditing, financial reporting, AI, and ESG. In particular, I investigate how AI and machine learning can improve the accuracy and timeliness of detecting misconduct, including material misstatements, abnormal accruals, and financial statement fraud. My work aims to bridge the gap between traditional auditing practices and emerging technological innovations.
